Park History
When the Evans family first turned part of their farm into a small camping field in 1957, no one could have imagined what the park would become more than sixty years later. Even by the 1980's— as shown in our archive photographs— the park was still a far cry from the sophisticated, beautifully maintained destination it is today.

What has remained constant, however, is the commitment to growth and quality. Decades of continuous investment have transformed the park into one of the UK’s leading holiday destinations. We are proud to have been named AA Welsh Campsite of the Year in both 2012 and 2022, awarded a 5-Star rating by Visit Wales, hold the 5 Platinum Pennant by the AA, and recognised as a Premier Park since 2015.

A milestone moment came in 2015 with the opening of our 1957 restaurant— a project that represented over £500,000 of investment. This addition brought a stylish bar and dining experience to the park, complementing the high standards set throughout the rest of the site.

Today, the Evans family remains dedicated to enhancing the park year after year. The journey of improvement is far from over, and we look forward to welcoming guests as we continue to evolve and elevate the holiday experience.
